The fit on the stern is spot-on, no trimming or drilling needed. The poly material feels thick enough to actually take a beating on gravel launches.

Dragged my kayak up a rocky boat ramp last weekend and the poly plate took the whole beating without a scratch. Bolted on in a few minutes and it hugs the keel curve better than the worn original did.

The skid plate fit my stern like it was cut for it, and the black poly material has already shrugged off a few rocky beach landings. Drilling the holes was quick and it sits flush against the keel.
