Wore these through a muddy spring trail day and my socks stayed completely dry, which honestly surprised me for a low-cut shoe. The support on loose gravel is solid without feeling stiff.

Took these on a wet, rocky ridge hike and the grip never slipped once, even on the slick descents. Feet stayed completely dry through a couple of shallow stream crossings too.

The waterproofing held up fine on a soggy six-mile loop and my socks stayed dry the whole time. Only gripe is the ankle collar rubbed a little on the first hike, though it softened up after that.
