Took this as a carry-on for a two-week trip and it swallowed way more than I expected for a 40L. The fact that it's carry-on approved saved me at the gate, and hauling it over cobblestones was way easier than dragging a regular duffel.
The wheels roll so smoothly through airport terminals, and it still fits in the overhead bin without a fight. I've stuffed it full for weekend trips and the fabric hasn't shown a single scuff.
Took this as my only bag for a four-day trip and the 40L size slid into the overhead bin without a fight. The wheels roll smooth over cobblestones and the tarmac handle feels solid when I'm dragging it loaded up.
