The insulated hood makes such a difference on windy walks to school. It's the warmest jacket my son owns and it layers fine over a sweater without feeling bulky.

Got this for my 8-year-old and the updated fit actually leaves room for a hoodie underneath without looking bulky. The down is seriously warm for how light it feels. Only gripe is the smocked cuffs are a bit snug to pull over gloves.
