Wore this through a full day of sidecountry hiking and the pit zips actually kept me from overheating on the climb. Then it floated through knee-deep powder on the way down without a single cold spot. That kind of versatility is rare in one jacket.
The jacket handles groomers fine and the powder skirt actually kept snow out on a deep day, but the fit runs boxy through the shoulders and the hood feels bulky when I'm not wearing it up. Decent for the versatility, just wish it was cut a little trimmer.
