Brought this on a three-day backpacking trip and it flattened right into my cook pot with room to spare. The stainless mesh rinses clean with a quick swish, no paper filters to pack out. My morning coffee tasted as good as it does at home.
The stainless steel mesh actually gives a clean cup with no grit, which I didn't expect from something that folds this flat. It pops open in seconds and rinses clean at the sink without scrubbing.
Tossed this in my pack for a weekend trip and it folded completely flat in the mount base, barely took up any room. The stainless mesh rinses clean in seconds, so no soggy paper filters to pack out.
