Wore this skinning up in wet spring snow and stayed dry the whole way. The ePE membrane is noticeably lighter than my old shell but still blocks wind on the ridge. Packs down small enough to stuff in my touring pack without thinking about it.

The GORE-TEX Pro actually breathes on the uphill instead of turning into a sauna, which I didn't expect from something this tough. Two full days of touring and the high-denier face fabric still looks new after brushing past branches and rocks.
