I was worried the extra cushioning would feel mushy, but these still give a fast, snappy ride on smooth singletrack. My feet stayed comfortable through a solid two-hour run, which never happened with my old trail pair.

Took these on a rocky ridge run last weekend and the extra cushioning really soaked up the descents. They feel faster underfoot than my old trail pair too. Toe box is roomy enough that my feet didn't swell into a problem by mile eight.

The extra cushioning is nice on descents, but the upper runs narrow for me and pinched a bit on longer runs. For shorter trail sessions it's fine, just not the faster feel I was expecting.
