Bought this for my daughter's rainy walk to school and she came home completely dry. The DryVent fabric actually breathes, so she isn't sweaty by the time she gets there, and the water-repellent finish makes the rain bead right off.

Took this on a soggy camping trip and the water-repellent finish held up nicely through a couple hours of drizzle. Only gripe is the hood runs a bit big on my daughter, but the three-piece design still keeps the rain off her face.
