Wore this on a windy ridge hike and it blocked the gusts without feeling clammy at all. The stretchy fabric moves with you on scrambles, and the hood actually stays put.
Bought this for climbing and it packs down so small I forget it's in my bag until the wind picks up. The stretchy fabric moves with me on reachy moves instead of bunching at the shoulders.
Kept the wind off on a breezy ridge hike and packed down to almost nothing in my daypack. Only gripe is the hood feels a bit thin when it's really gusting, but for the weight I'm happy.
